by HOTSPICYKIMCHI

Lee Ji Ah’s controversial marriage and divorce has made its first fatality in the actress’s career.

Lee was one of three candidate actresses competing for the lead role in the upcoming drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo.” On April 26th, representatives of the production company stated, “Lee Ji Ah was one of the candidates, but she has been dropped due to the recent controversial events.” Actress Lee Ji Ah is currently in the midst of an asset division lawsuit with ex-husband and 90s pop icon Seo Taiji.

So far, “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” has casted Ji Chang Wook of “Smile Donghae,” Chun Kwang Ryul of “Baker King Kim Takgu,” and Sung Ji Ru of “Crime Squad.” The drama will air Mondays and Tuesdays on SBS sometime in July.

  1. The 3 names mentioned of the new drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” are still all male actors. They did not yet include who will be the male actress. Even they stated that they dropped LJA as a candidate but did not mention any female lead role, I still hope that they will reconsider her and give her the chance as one of the cast or female lead role in the upcoming drama. The issue was not her fault, there are still many viewers who still appreciate LJA acting.
