With approximately one day left for online vote at 2010 Melon Awards, things are looking good for CNBLUEas the band is among the Top 10 artists competing for the main award, Artist of the Year. CNBLUE is also currently ranked #1 for Best New Artist. Aside from the awards, CNBLUE is also nominated for Best Song (I’m A Loner) and Best Album (Bluetory).
5 member Korean rock band FTIsland debuted in Japan in May. They opened their first official shop in Japan in Tokyo’s Shibuya PARCO Part 3 for a limited period of time. CDs are there as well as items you can only find on their official homepage like the member’s eye masks (880 yen/11USD), 12 set Polaroids (1650 yen/20USD), etc. You can buy all sorts of popular goods. Korean fans are also rushing to the shop. The limited edition shop closes on the 21st.
In the midst of the many dance group in Korea, CNBLUE uniquely stand firm as a band style group. They studied music for half a year, last year in Japan where they did live house and live street performances. They performed their own song with a high musicality, in Korea they were dubbed “the rookie that is not like a rookie”, while in Japan their live house ticket performances were always sold out in an instance.
The young members of popular band FTIsland will be taking to stage in three different venues throughout Korea! After having debuted in 2007, the band has been gaining quite a fanbase through their abilities to not only sing, but play their own instruments.
The string of concerts will be entitled, “Beautiful Journey.”
Star four-member group CNBLUE held their first official fan meeting in Japan and delivered a message of appreciation.
CNBLUE met 5,000 fans coming from all around Japan at the fan meeting entitled “Welcome to BOICE JAPAN,” which was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall in Yurakucho on October 28.
