[K-POP/K-Drama] Kim Tak Gu, Baker King : Yoon Si Yoon’s Afraid Of Heights

by HOTSPICYKIMCHI

Upon request by actress Yu Jin, the cast of KBS 2TV’s “All-Night Variety Nocturnal,” in its Sunday episode, delivered late night food to actors and staff on the set of the KBS drama “Bread, Love and Dreams.”

Speaking to the All-Night cast, Actor Yun Si-yun, who plays the hero “Takgu,” said there is one thing he’s nervous about when acting with his antagonist in the drama, “Majun,” played by Ju Won.

Yun agreed that the popularity of fresh new face Ju Won was climbing, and MC Sin Dong-yeob asked if he was nervous when acting with him. Yun admitted, “There is just one thing. All other scenes are fine but when Takgu and Majun have an indoor scene, we need to of course take off our shoes. We face each other on an even level outdoors but I have to look up at him in a room.”

Sin explained, “Ju Won is exceptionally tall. With shoes on, you can use tools to make you look taller but indoors, there is no way.” The rather short MC Yun Jong-sin offered to introduce Yun to a very useful tool, to which everyone laughed.

Yun also chose his ideal type among the two female characters of the drama, played by Yu Jin and Lee Yeong-ah, saying “I don’t hold on to someone who once betrayed me,” hinting that he would drop Yu Jin. He added that Lee was close to his ideal type in real life also.

Many other actors from the drama appeared on this episode of All-Night, including Lee Yeong-ah, Park Sang-myeon, Jang Hang-seon and Park Seong-wung, and shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes and the real personalities of fellow cast members off-camera.
