“Asia’s Prince” Jang Geun Suk’s popularity is still hot. The enthusiasm of “EELs” (nickname of Jang Geun Suk’s fan club) has not changed either.
Jang Geun Suk recently held a Japanese fan meeting after two years. The event, “GIFT” was literally meant as for the fans as a gift.
For almost a month, Jang Geun Suk have been doing shows from the Osaka Orix Theater, Pacifico Yokohama National University Hall, Fukuoka Line Palace and Nagoya International Conference Hall.
The said fan meeting was covered via StarCast by Dispatch.
The show differs from the normal fan meeting since it is depicted in a bar and was co-produced by Jang Geun Suk and prepared specially for the EELs, (yes, fans not the slimy ones you imagine.)
The show also perfectly reproduced Jang Geun Suk’s room, as a concept to return to everyday life and to comfortably answer the fans’ questions.
Jang Geun Suk also becomes a teacher during the fan meeting, teaching Japanese EELS about Korean language.
Lastly, he treats fan to karaoke and calls himself “Noraebang Prince” while manipulating a real karaoke machine and accepting song requests from fans.
