Girl group Kara claimed wins on both televised music programs over the weekend with their latest single “Jumping.”
The five-member female band took their first win on KBS ‘”Music Bank” on Friday and SBS’ “Inkigyao” on Sunday with the title track from their fourth mini-album released on November 10.
“Jumping,” composed by duo Han Jae-ho and Kim Seung-soo, is a dance number which mixes European pop from the 80s with modern sound.
The song was also released simultaneously in Japan as the girls’ second mini-album last month which reached up to No. 2 on Japan’s Oricon weekly chart as of December 6.
Composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, Kara made their debut in Korea with their first album “Blooming” in 2007 and with “Mister” in Japan in August this year.
They are currently busy preparing for their upcoming debut in Japanese drama “URKARA” which will go on air in January next year.
