Some stills showing two protagonists dating have drawn more attention to the KBS2 drama “Marry Me, Mary.”
In the stills of scenes from the November 30 episode, Wie Mary (Moon Geun-young) and Jung In (Kim Jae-wook), who are married under a contract, visit a bookstore and an open market on a date. The two look like real lovers who just started dating.
Moon said, “It was fun. I could look over some books for the first time in a long while and enjoy some tasty snacks. The scenes may look natural because I didn’t feel like I was shooting but really going there with a good friend.”
Kim said, “I focused on depicting the character’s warm and kind side. There was a scene where Jung In opens his heart to Mary over a cup of soda instead of soju. I was so immersed that it felt like a real situation.”
Meanwhile, the episode features a development in the feelings the two have toward each other. Mary realizes she has had prejudice about Jung In and finds his vulnerable and kind side. Jung In confides in Mary and tells her why he is trying to look strong to his father.
The romantic comedy “Marry Me, Mary,” enjoying growing popularity with lovable characters, airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS2 at 9:55 p.m.
