MC Mong has appeared in Seoul Central’s District Court in lieu of his military service case hearing today at 10 am. However, reporters were not able to catch a glimpse of the star as he made his first court appearance.
MC Mong’s first trial has been scheduled today at Courtroom 519, Seoul Central District Court in Gwangju where he reportedly appeared before the judges alone.
Outside the Seoul Central District Court, numerous reporters have been flocking and waiting to catch a glimpse of the vindicated man today. But he left without beeing seen in front of reporters, at 10:00 a.m.
A court official claims that MC Mong stood quietly in court while pleading not guilty and insisted on being innocent to the criminal case on charges of violating the Military Service Act being filed against him. However, he acknowledged the fact that his military service has been long delayed.
It is to be known that MC Mong has been caught up in a legal, social, and professional mess due to speculations over whether or not he dodged his mandatory military service by purposely taking out his teeth.
Such attempts in trying to get out of one’s military draft is not only a serious crime, but can do major damage to a public figure’s image.
MC Mong’s case will reach it’s final verdict on January 29, 2011.
