[K-POP] IU : Chosen As Spokesperson For “Alicia”


Youthful singer, IU, has recently been chosen as the spokesmodel for the new online horseback riding game “The Story of My Horse and I, Alicia”.

Young soloist IU has been chosen to endorse the new online horseback riding simulation game designed for young girls, entitled “The Story of My Horse and I, Alicia”.

The developement company for the game, nicknamed “Alicia” stated in regards to the reasoning behind their decision: “IU’s smiple and innocent image matches well with the concept of ‘Alicia’, in which the player becomes acquainted with a horse. Because of her fresh and youthful apperance, we came to the conclusion that she would make the most appropriate endorsement model.”

IU’s entertainment company also mentioned that IU has had a curious correlation with online games since her debut, and is one of the reasons that they felt this project would be good for her. Currently, she is the MC for the program “Star for You” and “Sony Ericcson Starcraft 2 Open Season 2”, on which she introduces competetors.

IU has stated, “Because the concept of the game is so different and interesting, I’m looking forward to working as their spokesmodel, so please, try out the game in the future.”
