However, the Broadcasting ratings dropped significantly in January, since popular idol groups went on vacation one by one to prepare for their next albums.
The producers of MBC Music Center said, “It is true that we feel sorry for the lower level of activities by the idol groups of high popularity. We expect that the situation will improve for this month as SNSD returns to the stage and other popular groups successively come back.”

It seems like G-Dragon, has really been destined to become a star.
As one day he went with his family to a ski ressort where there was a dance competition going on by SM Entertainment, under Lee Soo Man, G-dragon’s talents attracted him and he was picked as a trainee for SM. He did SM trainee activities for about 5 years during the period when HOT and Boa and SHINWA and SES were gaining popularity.
“When I first was a trainee at SM I wouldn’t go practice everyday because at that time the company wasn’t all that big so I’d go once a month or every three months. SM officials probably don’t remember anything about me anymore although I was very active and danced a lot. I wasn’t a handsome boy and I had kind of a brat face and a mischievous look but i still danced good and followedthedirections the best that I could. At one time I was even playing around and sitting on the laps on SHINWAmembers, who praobably wouldn’t remember?”
While he was an SM trainee G-Dragon did not have a clear vision of his future. Yet as a trainee during 3rd grade elementary school he found out about the Wu Tang Clan through his best friend and it was the first time he was introduced to that kind of music. He then naturally learn how to freestyle and rap after he joined the People Crew.
